Parnis Question

Hi all just won this Parnis as i put a bid in and didnt think id win it for the price i bid

 

I know the wrong way round but its mine now

 

But the question is what is it a homage to??

Is it worth the money that i would be paying for the watch??

 

can you tell what movement is in it just by looking??

I can be sure it's a faux tourbillon, yes. Anyhow, the price alone gives that away - a genuine tourby is going to cost you a minimum of $500 and usually much more.

 

It's going to be a basic chinese '21j' movement of some description. Personally, I don't think these things are worth having, but if you like it, that's all that matters. Parnis watches are generally fairly well made and you could have done a lot worse.
