What is the best way to clean it and make it all nice and shiny again? I obviously want to be careful because its not real gold so i dont want the gold fading away etc? Any tips and advice is welcome :D

Cheers

Soapy water and a toothbrush will work or jewelry cleaner.

Somebody gave me a spray bottle of jewelry cleaner called "Purple Magic" which seems to work real well, particularly on gold plate. I think it's just type of glass cleaner with alcohol as the active ingredient.

Never heard of it doing that as long as you wash it all off. I can't think of any reason why it would as long as there's nothing abrasive in the soap.

The best way to clean it is with a solution of Aqua Regia, should be available at most local chemical plants !!! ;)
