Does this look odd or does it work?

Ordered a blue bezel from aliexpress as the original bezel looked tired. The colour is significantly different to the face.

 

Do you guys think the contrast works or does it look odd?

I get what you are saying. The face is more of a greeny blue than just a blue. Any ideas where i could get a colour matched bezel for it from?

Maybe try one of the TD's, I have the gen of this watch and that bezel insert just does not do it. Maybe even post a want to buy in the relevant section for the correct colour bezel insert. You could even check out eBay for one the correct colour.

Sounds like a plan. Any idea what the face colour is called or is it just referred to a 'blue'?

Took mine out to check, the face colour is a dark blue whereas you bezel colour is more of a bright blue. Hope you can find the correct colour.

Try taking a look at the watch on the Omega watch site, you should see the correct colour there.

I dig it man. Sometimes people get wrapped up in trying to make a watch look gen that they forget what's just "nice". I think it's cool and unique! Wear it well

The bezels came with some pre-installed self adhesive so was pretty easy to install.

I think it looks a bit odd but the lume markers and the pearl also sticks out

if you just see it as a cheap rep it is ok I think.

Gotta say it looks a tad too bright to me, I have the gen too and your's just looks off colour, have you tried a wtb for a Gen insert? Usually a few knocking around the forums and not too pricey either. You could of course just try and age it a tad instead.....

Cares, right? You can get a gen dial 150 on eBay though.

I think i will try to source one that is closer to gen. It does dramatically change the appearance of the watch.
