wat44 0 Posted January 8, 2011 Rolex - check Panerai - check IWC - check Omega - check U.N. - check Zenith - check Mont B. - check (havent seen the right Jaeger, Patek, V.C. B&R or A.P. yet) which brings me to TAG....
KBH 7 Posted January 8, 2011 There are lots of good looking Tags, although I've never had one either. They make too many quartz models for my taste. One good thing about them is since they're so (relatively) inexpensive, I would never look at one and suspect a rep.
RS9 1 Posted January 8, 2011 Of course it should worry you that you don't own a Tag! Get to your nearest doctor right away. I'm just being a cock; wear what you like and if it so happens that you don't like any of the current Tags then so be it. No need to feel obligated to own a certain brand. Baldrick 1 Posted January 8, 2011 Not gen but rep, Asian 7750, TTK, around $300.00 'bout 4 years ago, should be still available from some of the better dealers.!
capice 0 Posted January 8, 2011 (edited) nice pics Baldrich, had the same as you but sold it a while ago. TTK...still alive? Long time I heard his name...... These two Tags are keepers for me Edited January 8, 2011 by capice
Baldrick 1 Posted January 8, 2011 That looks like it, although his photos don't do it justice
Baldrick 1 Posted January 8, 2011 nice pics Baldrich, had the same as you but sold it a while ago. Who was your supplier, the blue is nice, but there a plethora of blue dial watches about, the mushroom ( not grey ) dial is more subtle and classier ) IMO.! JohnG 41 Posted January 8, 2011 Rolex - checkPanerai - check IWC - check Omega - check U.N. - check Zenith - check Mont B. - check (havent seen the right Jaeger, Patek, V.C. B&R or A.P. yet) which brings me to TAG.... Forget the Tag. If you have gone Panerai and IWC already, you missed the boat on Tag. The evolution of a noob should go like this: Phase 1 Rolex Phase 2 Tag/Omega/Mont B. Phase 3 Breitling Phase 4 Panerai/IWC/Other Phase 5 Homage You can move up to higher level watches, but never back. For example, Rolex is in your past. It is like being a virgin, you can't get back there again, and even if you could, why would you want to?
greg_r 83 Posted January 8, 2011 I had a gen Tag SEL. It kinda cured me of being that enthusiastic about Tag reps, to be honest. Totally underwhelming...
Slim 0 Posted January 8, 2011 I had a Tag, and I didn't bother to replace the battery when it ran out in 1999. So in summary: no.
NFleischer 4,355 Posted January 9, 2011 I like Tags, the Carrera lines and AquaRacers are great reps (nice gens for the $$ too) Asian7750 has this on sale for $158! Really can't beat that.
