To be fair... If you get the 36p tin of bean home and find that it's the old receipe tomato sauce and not the latest and greatest that you've seen advertised - you've only spunked away 36p and you can go and get the 38p tomorrow and see if that IS the latest and greatest. If both are the old receipe, well it's only cost you 74p to find that out... However, if someone on a baked beans forum has already had the tesco version and someone else on there has already had the Sainsbury version - always nice to know in advance what you're gonna get - if the information is out there...
