energnag 0 Posted January 10, 2011 I have been unable to find a trusted dealer who can deliver. Two have responded item is unavailable the third has been a non responder for 10 days. What I am looking for is a ladies datejust that meets the following requirements : - Quality automatic, self wind Japan movement, perhaps Miyota - Sapphire Crystal - Cubic Zirconium stones - Full stainless steel case, back, band, bezel with good gold plate - Screw pins, NOT push pins, in bracelet - Prefer screw down back, but will accept push in back - Rolex engraving on band clasp A number of websites come close, such as this one, What I want but are not trusted dealers. Except for the Asian movement ( which I assume is Chinese ) and the lack of Rolex engraving on the hidden clasp. Mary, by the way, is the trusted dealer I have yet to hear from. Am I looking for too much here ? I suspect the Japanese Miyota 21j would be better than the Chinese counterpart. Am I wrong ? AllergyDoc 40 Posted January 11, 2011 Sure, the Miyota would be better but I doubt many reps come with one, despite scam sites claim otherwise. If you don't get an ETA you'll likely get a Chinese clone of the Miyota. Have you paged through Lawrence's offerings? Did you send the dealers a picture of what you wanted? energnag 0 Posted January 11, 2011 Thanks for the feedback. Since you all seem to think the Chinese movements are O.K., I'll remove the Miyota requirement. The one dealer who claimed his had a Miyota movement was probably scamming me anyway. Will order from either Mary or Lawrence. Will order soon once I figure out shipping. But that's another subject.
