well holy shit i did it!

pulled the pallet fork and bridge out finally and pretty sure a small tiny ass piece of gear came with it couldnt say for certain as it landed on carpet and i cant see the bastard nowlol

reassembled and noticed after i gave the balance a flick it was all moving and just kept going! back together and resting for time being until i can get the crown gear replacement, any suggestions for best place to order this?

Thanks for the tips guys feels like a pretty cool accomplishment to be honest!

Sweet. Well done.

Just an update guys..crown gear arrived from the UK, thanks again to Jase for the kind gesture, much appreciated mate you helped me out big time!!

Assembled everything and damn it feels so much smoother haha gave it a flick and started right up..walked her on the winder to see how she went and day later still sweeping merrily away :)

Thanks for everyone who gave advice and nudged me in right direction and Jase once again for coming thru with the piece needed :)

Genius

Awesome work well done, it's easy looking at the pictures online when they fill your full screen, a lot more daunting when you get inside it and realised how small the gears actually are

Bloody oath mate! My hands are pretty bloody steady but when seeing the tip of screwdriver thru a loupe it's like I'm waving!! Haha and the screws are ridiculously small and have a knack for flying across the room when picked up by tweezers lol
