Gazzla 23 Posted September 10, 2015 Hey Gang I've had this almost a year now and it's still my 'go to' watch. No messing around, whenever I pick it up it the time is correct to a millisecond. It's a fantastic piece of engineering. Seiko are the kings of innovation. Quartz, Spring Drive, Grand Seiko, Astron, they really do innovate like no other and make marvellous time pieces. This one is entirely titanium and the epitome of the phrase, 'The Dog's Bollocks'. :P A few pics for your delectation: Gaz

Gazzla 23 Posted September 10, 2015 Just a Jap Quartz isn't it? No. Not at all. And I would expect someone with your knowledge not to post such a trite comment. The Astron movement is an 8X82 motorised, GPS regulated, solar powered movement with a quartz back up when GPS can't be received. (When you're on a plane, for example). gmchris 68 Posted September 10, 2015 Gotta believe the accuracy thing. Even my 15yr old seiko 7T92 only lost 3 secs in the 18 months between battery changes. Checked against bbc radio pips every day :-) Loving you pics Gazzla - do you use a polarising filter to get the crystal so invisible, or do your watches not have crystals? :-)

I can't take any credit for the invisible crystal; that's the fabulous Seiko double AR.

So it will cancel itself out. Oh and don't mention the war Fawlty.

MoveAlong 23 Posted September 12, 2015 Awesome technology and innovation aside, seems to me that you enjoy the hell out of wearing it! So, as some say here in the southern U.S., "keep on keeping on!"
