MoveAlong 23 Posted September 21, 2015 Well, it finally happened. Got a Steinhart that wasn't assembled by a chimpanzee. This is my first titanium diver and the weight difference is substantial, but not so much to negatively affect the wrist experience. Nice to have options! Let's cut to the chase - I love this watch and there are no QC issues whatsoever. Everything is where it should be. To me, this watch has a bit of an identity problem, but not in a negative way at all. It meshes together several different personalities: Ceramic bezel of 116610 but more in the spirit of the classic 16610 bezel ring and minimal crownguards Titanium construction and lumed bezel insert ala Pelagos Chapter ring reminiscent of the SKX007 All adds up to a BEAUTIFUL combination! This one's a keeper. Glad I got mine ordered on release day, they're already sold out. Steinhart has redeemed themselves in my eyes after the dismal QC of my two previous orders. Gazzla 23 Posted September 21, 2015 Woohoo! Great pics of a fantastic piece. The titanium is much lighter than SS, but in a good way. My Astron is a feather weight; brilliant. Thanks for sharing; enjoy!

Hornet 1 Posted September 21, 2015 Fantastic pictures fella, better than Steinharts for showing what the watch really looks like...... .....looks very good, in fact I'm almost tempted (for their second batch.....).
MoveAlong 23 Posted September 21, 2015 This pic didn't come out well, but it does capture a cool thing. When the light hits the crystal just right and you're looking at it from the right angle, it gets blue like this. Not sure if it's the AR or the blue numbers on the chapter ring doing it, but I like it!
Hornet 1 Posted September 21, 2015 Any chance of some macro shots on the dial?

MoveAlong 23 Posted September 21, 2015 Any chance of some macro shots on the dial? Unfortunately, my camera (cough, cough - Galaxy Note 4) just doesn't do well with the closeups.

MoveAlong 23 Posted September 22, 2015 Full day of wearing this today, so a good power reserve for the timegrapher. The Soprod A10-2 is a rock star!
WatchDog21 3,345 Posted September 22, 2015 Fantastic looking watch. The color combination is awesome. Feeling the temptation as well in the second go round. Excellent choice!
cogwatch 1 Posted September 23, 2015 Damn, that's sweet as candy!! Titanium is definitely something special, and the grayish titanium color and the brushed finish are perfect for the style and color scheme of the watch. Truly perfection at an unbelievable price. I just sold my business (closed escrow last Friday) and want to get a celebration watch. If this wasn't already sold out, I think this would be it. But not sure I can wait for the second round.......I need to celebrate now!!!!! Congrats on a beauty of a watch!!!
ShovelnTC 31 Posted September 23, 2015 Have been waiting for a review such as this before making the jump but now sold out and I'll probably be hot for something else by the time it's available again. I have now missed about 3 Steinhearts for the same reason only having actually bought the OVM. Oh well enjoy yours mate.

LightGeek 25 Posted September 23, 2015 Now if it was only 40mm...
MoveAlong 23 Posted September 23, 2015 All I can say is that it looks better on wrist than in Steinhart's pictures. And it looks fantastic in their pics! LG, don't let the 42mm worry you. I think it wears smaller than my old 40mm BK 116610 even at 42mm and with 22mm lugs. I think Steinhart hit this one out of the park!
