RUSH2112 11 Posted October 2, 2015 I caught the Grand Seiko bug and found this beauty from 1990 (9587-8000 Quartz) for a good price on eBay from a seller in Japan. Bought it Sunday night and it arrived today via ems. It's 36.5mm but feels about the size of a sub due to no bezel and small case, it's basically all dial. Decent shape with some scratches I'll need to work at when I get a chance on bracelet. Great dial with a lot of tonal variations depending on angle viewed. Much smaller hands than the others (pharmo a foxindebox I believe) recently picked up but I'm good, I like it a lot. Look around and you can get one without breaking the bank. HeavyKrush 16 Posted October 2, 2015 Very nice. There's a thread on WUS I've been following regarding using both US and Japanese Seiko services to repolish a GS: http://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=2371082

I'll be revisiting it to see progress. I was very surprised that Seiko US offers polishing services for a GS (even if it's not the full Zaratsu service) and only $100 (from the article).
