Gazzla 23 Posted October 14, 2015 Yeah, not overly convinced about the new model. I actually prefer the new Colt to be honest:- I'm with you on this Del. My mate has one and it is the bollocks. Crappy phone pic from the pub:
l3wyh 0 Posted October 14, 2015 Have to agree not a fan of the new superocean, feels a little busy on the dial and as if they have tried to combine the previous 2 versions. Managed to pick a superocean abyss with the blue script from an AD last week at a reasonable price before the gens disappear like the reps
Baldrick 1 Posted October 14, 2015 I'm not really into Breitling nowadays....but I'd prefer the cleaner lines and bezels of this.... ************************************* ******************************************

dave47 6,520 Posted October 15, 2015 While cruising the Breitling AD and the Breitling website last weekend I discovered something interesting. The Superocean 44mm, commonly known here at the SOA 44 or Superocean Abyss 44, that many of us know an love is now discontinued. The first pic below is the old version. This is the yellow highlight version that I have the rep of, which I love. The second pic below is the new version. It's boring, way to busy, and just unattractive in my opinion. What do you guys think??? The old version we know and love The new, boring, way too busy version (IMHO) . I agree with your opinion: the newest version's dial is simply too crowded and too busy -- very distracting. I like the older version much better -- very clean and uncluttered. dave
ImNotFatImFluffy 0 Posted October 15, 2015 The only standout breiting i like besides the SOSF is the Avenger II Seawolf, im sure most of you know that by now, but i figured since this post is about new vs old breitlings i was safe to say that.

Kleen™ 45 Posted October 15, 2015 I don't rate Breitlings at all - but I do agree the old version is the lesser of two evils....
