Piccolo 674 Posted October 23, 2015 I'd been looking at these for a while, but was disappointed with the one I tried on in an AD. This one popped up a couple days ago in the colour that I wanted and at a price that I couldn't say no to. It's a Bremont MBII. It came with a leather padded case, a rubber strap (that looks like leather) a leather strap and a canvas zulu strap, as well as a branded strap tool and spare curved spring bars. Some bits lifted from the Bremont site : http://www.bremont.com Movement: Modified calibre 13 1/4” BE-36AE automatic chronometer, 25 jewels, glucydur balance. Anachron balance spring, Nivaflex 1 mainspring, 28,800 bph, 38 hour power reserve, Bremont moulded and skeletised decorated rotor. Case: Hardened stainless steel Trip-Tick® case construction. Inner soft iron anti-magnetic Faraday cage to protect movement. Protective patented anti-shock movement mount. Patented inner bi-directional Roto-Click® bezel. Operated by crown at 4H. Case diameter 43mm, lug width 22mm. The Story: http://www.bremont.com/collection/mb And some pictures - I am not a photographer - sorry! First thoughts are that I really like it... the one I tried in the AD must have been battered and bruised by lots of pairs of hands. I love the orange case side, the little ejector seat ring pull on the end of the seconds hand and the gently curved crystal. It fits well, it feels good and it feels solid. I'm really pleased! I will be wearing it a lot I think... Definitely get one if you get the chance. I really like some of the Americas Cup editions they did, but feel that I may have to be sensible for a while now! Daywatch 4 Posted October 24, 2015 Way to go. The Bremont Brothers have well mastered the art with connecting a recent brand to aviation and vintage history. To me they always look and feel as something special - and that´s great in any watch. Congrats and wear it well.
ellistyle1 0 Posted October 24, 2015 That is gorgeous. Isn't there a model that in order to purchase you have to have ejected from a military jet? Am I dreaming that?

Piccolo 674 Posted October 24, 2015 Thank You all for the comments, about 24 hours in and still really pleased with it. Have tried it on the leather and on the rubber and both sit comfortably. I think I might get an alcantara or short haired suede strap made for it which would feel sporty but still look smart. I'm very glad I got it in the Orange, for me it makes the watch. It's subtle because it's the side of the case, but bright enough to feel 'fun'.
