Doesn't look like a picture to me. Doesn't look like a review either. In-fact, it doesn't even look like a proper 1'st post.

Intrduce yourself. And READ

I'm not being rude at all. Just short, sweet and to the point informative.

Introduce yourself in the new members section... which btw; is specifically made to handle any sort of china with velvet gloves.

Point taken. What do you think of my watch though

I think a regiment Nato makes a brilliant combo with almost any vintage toolwatch rollie, altho' I'm partial to the 5517 myself...mainly because I'm a sucker for sword hands.

For accuracy on the 5512 there are far more knowledgeable rollie-fans on this forum than I.

Do you really like the strap on it?

Do you get happy in the morning when you see this.... a think more depressed...

For me it's a no go,..but that's just me.... :archaeology:

I put that strap on it, I still have the bracelet. It was just homage to the James Bond theme, although Sean Connery was wearing this one with the 16mm strap in Goldfinger.

Looks good. Especially the crown guards. Where did you pick it up?

Yup, CGs look real nice!

I also like that the lume is a bit yellowed, but not the super bright 'vintage yellow' of some of the cartel reps.

Where did you get this sucka?

This one came from Perfect clones, wasn't on the website, I had to ask for it. I bought the Mil strap from ebay

This looks like a serious candidate for a Tudor build.

Looking at the CGs I would swear you modded them...maybe the cartel is getting better cases these days?

Check the Perfect Clones offering from 4 yrs ago...

Lume dots are much yellower, CGs are shorter and fatter, Crown is much taller and wider.

That's good feedback, not many people were offering this one and had read about the CGs not being right on some.

This is my Cartel from Perfect Clones, bought a couple of years ago. Needless to say I reshaped the infamous stubby CGs. This new offering that Paultthomas has, has a lot of potential. I'm really surprised Josh hasn't updated the photos on his website, the new CGs are great news.

I have several strap options for my watches. I like the bracelets, but sometimes, a nylon Mil strap, a rubber strap or a leather strap mixes it up a bit and takes away the cravings for more watches. For this one, i have never worn the bracelet, so even more special when I do.

K. just gave you the typical forum welcome, get used to this quickly.

I think a lot of people around here would be very happy if that kind of case really was the new vintage Rolex models base.
