21j Movement Transplant Question

I am looking at this:

I was wondering if the movement would fit into a 21j submariner such as this if I drilled a hole in the dial to fit the faux tourby:

I have no idea how hard it would be to fit that movement, anyone have any tips for me, thanks.

All I can say is suck it and see mate...until you offer the donor movement up to the Sub you don't know what problems you'll hit. You may have problems aligning the crown stem and with the hands if the dial is further away along with other stuff...good luck...

Somehow I don't see this working. But I've seen stranger things happen on these forums.

 

And the big question is why you would want to!
