Phantomtech 4 Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) Hey folks! As soon as I saw that JF released the RG 15400 I took a blind leap and sold my modded TF watches to fund these. Let me tell you, it was worth it! These JF 15400's are in a whole other league, the attention to detail is astounding and the level of finishing is amazing. The brushed and polished surfaces look extremely gen-like. Even the crystal is pretty good, I used to send it in for double AR the minute I received these watches but now I am not sure what I will do. It's definitely not as crystal clear as the AR'd crystals but it might be clear enough to pass. It also looks great while reflecting off light. As usual, the rep straps are crap, will have to get custom Jacob straps for these. I was planning to use the gator straps that Jacob made me for my TF watches and I am super annoyed that JF decided to mod the endlinks so the old straps won't fit. Neither will a gen strap for that matter. JF added a protruding small piece that is not like other endlinks, I will attach a photo for your reference. I might just order from my td TF endlinks and use those to install my old straps and save me some cash. Will think about it. I know SMP_lover is working on his own inserts, will see how they come out. I also received now the blue dial as well, that watch looks beautiful! It has a much more gen-like look that the TF version, and for me I think it is mainly due to the bezel screws. The high finishing level plays a part as well... There are plenty of photos of this model on the other threads so I will stop here. Here is my final word, if you are debating between the TF and JF, get the JF and don't look back. Anyway, enough rambling - here they are, enjoy: Black dial: White dial: Here is the stainless steel blue dial on bracelet: And here is the JF endlinks that are so different: Edited January 12, 2016 by Phantomtech
jmshen 0 Posted January 12, 2016 Great little write-up! And the pictures are amazing. You can really see the finish in these pictures. Otherwise you look at the TD pictures and they all really seem the same. Thanks for taking the time.
2hot2trot 4 Posted January 12, 2016 Great review with some awesome pics. JF have certainly come up trumps on this one. I seem to be drawn to the white dial, gorgeous detail. Enjoy mate!

WatchaholicMallorca 2 Posted January 12, 2016 Hi can you please elaborate on where you purchased these watches? If you could attach a link that would be great. I'm new to the replica forum, what do you mean by JF replica? Also, how much did each model cost? Thanks mate, great photos btw !

Kcore 0 Posted January 14, 2016 Very nice write up and great pics - thx! While the JF might be using different end links (plots), your pic clearly shows that they at least use what look like gen style bar & caps that secure the strap to the endlinks. My JF uses 2 mini screw pins on each side. You muck them up and good luck getting replacements.
linos 3 Posted January 14, 2016 Amazing watches. Thanks for write-up. Is the rotor noisy on these models? Thanks

Aznsnplayboy 0 Posted January 15, 2016 Nice review. I recently bought a JF Black dial with Profsteve Crystal installed and it looked awesome. I like the RG w/ black dial too, but not sure if I can pull it off, it's very flashy/bling bling to me...it screams "damn, you're rich"....which I'm not by any means, lol. WatchGuy>IT 7 Posted January 16, 2016 great review, received my blue dial 15400, such an incredible finish! BTW I honestly think that a double AR crystal is pretty pointless, the stock crystal is really good! plus some of the double ar crystals have a greenish reflection that tottally kills the watch IMO.
