Slim 0 Posted February 10, 2011 UK-based readers might be interested to know that Argos are currently doing cheap but reasonable leather-bound watch boxes for £7.49. I bought two of them myself yesterday, here they are: The holders are a bit rubbish, but they do the job.

midasmook 14 Posted February 10, 2011 My wife bought me one just before Xmas. Not really suitable for Panerai.

Del 4,462 Posted February 10, 2011 I actually have one of these too. The box itself is pretty good but, as you say, the holders are crap so I actually just keep a couple of watches in the box without using the holders. Can't argue with the price though . djprone 0 Posted February 10, 2011 I've actually just bought a cheapy watch winder for £25 from argos, it feels very plasticy and cheap but seems to be doing the trick. In fact, i managed to squeeze two watches on it without any problems, it continued to wind no problem.

richardm1142 0 Posted February 25, 2011 After buying a couple two weeks ago, I had another look today and while they are still in stock, the price has shot up to £15 a pop. It would seem their trend spotting software has noticed the sales blip.
Slim 0 Posted February 26, 2011 I think £15 is their usual price - it will probably be on offer again, though.
