TRANSPORTER 1 Posted April 10, 2016 Mmm sounds like you need a new crown tube fitting ( maybe ) what are the threads like on it, are the stripped? If they are then it's anew tube, easy enough job if you have the tools, if they aren't stripped then it's the crown that's stripped and that will need replacing, another simple job that doesn't really require any specialist tools. As for the re luming, well that takes practice and patience but it's something you can do yourself just like the other two jobs.
