chase0224 0 Posted May 18, 2016 So i was browsing another forum and a guy posted this as his newly acquired watch, however something looks off about this watch and that crown looks awfully close to the 5980 BP replica. The gens crown is more flush with the case, but the rep has the extended crown like in the pic, so what do you guys think? Gen: Rep:

trailboss99 994 Posted December 6, 2016 Mine too, higher the Octane the cleaner the burn.. Not true Dal, the only advantage of a higher octane is less propensity to knock or ping allowing for the timing to be set with more advance thus producing a longer power stroke and more efficient (and complete) use of the energy contained in the fuel. Higher octane fuel is (contrary to popular belief) not higher in energy and thus more powerful, cleaner burning or any of the other mythical attributes mistakenly given it. A good example is E10 or E85 both of which have high octane ratings (E85 is around 120) but contain less energy per ml than petrol.
