doeyself 0 Posted June 15, 2016 Hi everyone, I got my Noob V6 from a dealer 2 months ago. The watch it self was really fantastic. One morning during normal acticity (teaching), I found that the bezel pearl disappeared. I couldn't find it. So I contacted the dealer and sent the watch back to them. Few days later, I got the watch back. I my eyes It is not acceptable but I don't want to send it back to the dealer again. What should I do? Are there any ways to make it better? Thanks you. BadPickle 2,802 Posted June 15, 2016 Get a new insert from the dealer and glue it in yourself.
NCRich 13,798 Posted June 15, 2016 That is so bad it is laughable. You could probably pop that out with a razor blade/exacto knife and clean it up and reglue. Depends on what kind of glue they used but that pearl should separate from the insert pretty easily.
plankton 1 Posted June 15, 2016 BK can source your insert. Easy to install.

I would certainly try what NCRich has suggested and request a new pearl if it is knackered.
Duzza 182 Posted June 15, 2016 Its not the best pearl even without the glue all over it but you've got little lose at this stage. Get the pearl out and clean it up and reglue it properly ie not with your fucking eyes shut like which ever twat put it in first time around If it doesn't work out you can always buy a new insert as advised here. Your dealer probably has a moral duty to send you one free after they potentially ruined your first one with 3 litres of superglue.
Robeng 0 Posted June 15, 2016 Without naming names, was it a TD here? Worst repair I've ever seen.
doeyself 0 Posted June 15, 2016 Thank you very much all of you guys. It's not from TD here. I think the pearl I got back is the previous version V5 or lower not V6. Firstly, I will try to take it out and clean it myself. Btw, I have two more questions. 1. What do you use to clean the superglue? 2. Would the newest insert(brighter one) fit my bezel? If I mess up my watch, I may have to order one. ^^;
Mattcrx 8 Posted June 19, 2016 Superglue will normally be able to be picked off with a tooth pick or something or a sharp blade.
