asnar 0 Posted June 26, 2016 Hi all, I have problems lately with a Yaghtmaster II i bought from a trusted seller in here. After 3 years of running very nice it started loosing time and lately stopping on its own for no apparent reason. I can't even wind it manually since the winder turns without engaging the movement. I opened it with a sticky ball and the movement was attached with 3 screws to the case. I removed them and as I turned the watch slowly upside down so as to remove the movement from the case another little black screw fell off!!! I have absolutely no idea where it goes to !!! http://i1372.photobu...zpshia4kzef.jpg My problem now is that I was planing to remove the hands and the dial so as to try and have a look at the key works. Any propositions or help on the further disassembly will be greatly appreciated. By the way does anyone know the movement type in case i decided just to change it? http://i1372.photobu...zpspnagfwma.jpg http://i1372.photobu...zps7tdwpkpx.jpg http://i1372.photobu...zpsqym229hc.jpg Thanks again. Mr_B 2,410 Posted June 26, 2016 Try looking for a repairer round your area, there a few on this forum which are great
asnar 0 Posted June 26, 2016 Thanks I thought of that but I am in Greece and repairers are not all that common here. I gave an Arktos to one a while back and it was returned to me with horrendous scratches on the back. I simply can't relive the experience again!
