Ask and ye shall receive. The plexi had to be sanded just a little bit. Couple of hundredths of an inch..

Was reading the first page of this thread thinking nice watch shame about the cyclops, and wondering if a Clark crystal would fit....

Then you gone and done it... Really made the watch!.. Looks awesome, bordering on super rep standards from the pics and if it looks that good in macros no way you're ever getting called out on it!

Great pickup and great modding

@NCRich

Can you please make photo and poste it without cyclop / date window looks crooked?

Kind thanks.

Its not crooked, just the camera angle. Same here, it looks like it is high on the date window because it is tilted to stand it up. If you move the camera the date window looks like it is lined up differently. To the left, to the right.

Just had a look through the whole "other Rolex" section on silix

Similar watches to this seem to have the very cheap style clasp

How would you rate the clasp in this model?

@NCRich - By any chance you can measure lug width with calipers?

And a link width near the clasp also please.

Or clasp "inner" width

Lovely lovely watch

Typical clasp. Same as all my other 19mm reps like the vintage daytonas. This watch, not any other cheap one.

But I believe the last of these has been sold. Someone on RWI told me they got the last one. So much the last one that they put a 2813 auto in it because they were out of the handwinds. I used one of these to build an explorer with a Tropic 12 plexi.
