Does anyone produce a BRIGHT RED lume?

Just wondering (as is my wont) if any of the 'lumesters' produce a bright red lume?

 

Like the original early 70s LEDS that appeared on watches & calculators.

 

I just thought (perverted mind) that it would look (look away if you don't want to witness the use

of 'youthful slang' by an old, very grumpy bastard) "way cool".

 

I can almost salivate over my Pam292 Blackseal glowing & pulsating with bright red indices !!!!!!!

That's an interesting choice. Would be nice to see some pics of the result when you're done.

Keep in mind the red will probably not be as bright as say a green or blue. This is due to our eye sensitivity to color. We are something like 30-50x more sensitive to green light vs. red.

I think red lume would look great on a logo on the dial for a red star ala china, or maybe something russian?

... and duration of red lume is very short (cca 10-15 minutes)
