MikeyMouseWatch 0 Posted March 2, 2011 On the back of some of my watches, instead of screws is a rotate-able plate which contains those square peg-holes at the ends for gripping. I've done a search but didn't quite find a spin-off tool that should fit into those square etches. I'm not even sure what they are called. So looking for more info on this, so I can know what to look for. Just something cheap but easy to use when trying to take the backs off my watches.

MikeyMouseWatch 0 Posted March 2, 2011 https://shop.homage-watches-guide.com/index...mp;productId=97 Thanks I had seen this before in my searches, but had thought the tool I'd need would have to have square pegs to fit neatly in the square etches. I guess such a thing doesn't exist. This one seems cheap enough, if it works then great.
offshore 0 Posted March 2, 2011 In this instant round pegs do go into square holes. You will open 80% of all your case backs with that one little tool. O/S

The jaxa type openers are usually supplied with different caseback dies, some of which are designed to fit up against the outer rim of the back (as with Pams) and some with formed ends which fit into the notched casebacks you described earlier.
