Just thinking about this hobby and thought there are quite a few things to enjoy about it, not just having watches. Personally, I think I enjoy knowing there's something new on the way to me that I'm really looking forward to. Like a kid looking forward to Santa coming. :lmao2:. Anyways, what's your favorite part?

I guess I won't be voting. I like sharing the experience with you.

I like to see the watches through your eyes,

and be able to appreciate what I am looking at, and knowing

what to look for by learning about the watches from all of you.

I am always learning new things here.

I like reading the reviews and examining the watches, especially in the wrist check.

The photos are great because I get to see the watches I would otherwise never see.

I get to feel the delight, happiness and excitement of you receiving and enjoying your watches.

I receive the vicarious pleasure of those experiences for free.

If I have a few watches, I get to participate more. It's all good. :yiddishe:

I mean, just look at the options, they are ALL noob emotions. I order a watch today, a day later I have forgotten I even ordered it, NEVER check the tracking anymore, when it arrives, sure I wear it, but I don't make a special trip into town to show it to everyone... Reviews? Of an actual watch? Babies have been born and have started talking in the time since my last review... :thumbsup2:

Posting threads about projects before they are finished is also pretty fucking noobish wouldn't you say John? How is that vintage project of yours coming along anyway??

Good question(s). I think what I enjoy most about this hobby is all the steps involved in making an informed decision on what new watch to purchase. The whole journey from research to arrival to wrist time equates to watchaholic. I don’t enjoy explaining to the spouse why I “needed†another watch.
