ZellerFTW 0 Posted March 7, 2011 Seriously considering a PAM253 from Mary at Watch-International, but I wanted to ask the crew here if anyone has opinions of this particular piece or if there's a better dealer for Panerai watches. Interested in this model here: http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...showtopic=10254
MikeMcNair 0 Posted March 7, 2011 dude, the first order i placed with mary was a DSSD and a 253 for a buddy. it is one of the nicest pieces i have EVER seen. you will not be disappointed. in fact, i think it is one of the "super reps" out of the box. buy it, you will LOVE IT!!!! oh, and mary is the shit!!! she is super great at everythign she does. i would marry her if Luth doesnt beet me to it! greg_r 83 Posted March 7, 2011 It's a decent rep, but personally I'd buy from Robert/PWC (if he has them) and go for his pre-servicing option. It'll cost you a little more, but the watch is more likely to be reliable in the long term.
trailboss99 996 Posted March 7, 2011 Original C3 Super Luminova Applied on Markers and Needles Oh really? No real reason not to but I'd check with Robert first when it comes to Pams, he's the goto guy for anything less that a Davidsen. Col.
JohnG 41 Posted March 7, 2011 ditto above, plus Mary has been a little slow for some people lately.
Cynikal.Mindset 1 Posted March 7, 2011 yea, Mary has been only working 2-3 hours a day since she's been sick. I've been waiting almost 2 weeks now for QC pics of my watch she picked up the wrong colour last week and needed to exchange it (communication error on both our sides). She's plugging away at stuff but its been SLOW.
wat44 0 Posted March 7, 2011 there is a very good reason to NOT buy one from Mary ... because you'll buy another, and another...
speedzmaster 0 Posted March 7, 2011 Her QC is more of a visual check than anything.
JohnG 41 Posted March 7, 2011 Her QC is more of a visual check than anything. Not true, she uses Computed Axial Tomography scans to qc her watches.

NFleischer 4,355 Posted March 7, 2011 I thought she uses MRI scans. BTW- I heard she actually had to have surgery. I hope she's better

Ska 11 Posted March 7, 2011 Mary's always done right by me, but she is a one-woman operation so it's always tough if she's ill or inundated with orders.
