ska no wonder that this crud could make your movement stop.. but it could be also the movement fault. Keep us informed how it will end :ninja: I think Mary will send you a new movement, and you will swap it no ?

hmmm.. that's scary. I bought the same watch from mary and paid for a swiss ETA. Would this be Mary's fault or the factories? I feel like I should open mine up and check now!

Mary immediately sent me a replacement movement which is on the way. Fantastic service in all respects.

 

If your DSSD is working and sweeping correctly i would leave it alone. Just my 2 cents.

Jesus Just started to open the DSSD up, its chock full of dust and crud.

 

Its never been opened before so this must all be from the factory.

 

Christ. NO wonder the fucking thing doesn't work properly.

 

Oh and its got a fucking clone 3135 in it. not a swiss 2836-2.

lpv888 you can check, if you have proper tools to open the caseback.. Then you can also lube the gasket for water resist... Ska fantastic news regarding new movement, that is TOP service from Mary (for her customers ). I wonder, the hands sizes are the same like for the ETA ? If you will not use the old DSSD movement, instead throwing it into the garbage, I would take it !!!! :sh_h:

Lol - yeah the hands will fit fine.

 

The 3135 is going to be stripped, fixed and reassembled. Then i'll probably use it for another project.
