kefkef 0 Posted November 3, 2016 First of all let me apologize if this is in the wrong section (which it most likely is). Second of all, hello everybody, I've been lurking here for some time now, and I really enjoy the forum. I would very much like to ask you for your input. I'm considering buying my father an AP Royal Oak Jumbo 15400 for his birthday. But I can't for the life of me figure out which one to buy. These are the nominees: Swiss ETA 2824-2 Asian Clone 2824-2 Miyota 9015 I've read some people say the Miyota is a bit noisy. And some people recommend going with the clone 2824-2 rather than the ETA, because then you get all new parts. Also the asian clone has been modified to AP 3120 calibre bridges, which doesn't tell me much. Is it for appearances only, or does it have any other function? So, if you don't mind me asking, what's your take on this. Which one would be your choice? And could you please elaborate why? I really appreciate all inputs, and once again, sorry if this is in the wrong section. Thanks again, and have a great day. kefkef

James.l 0 Posted January 25, 2017 I'd get the one with the decorated movement with 9015. http://aootime868.com/Replica-AP-Royal-Oak-41mm-15400-SS-JF-1-1-Blue-Dial-on-SS-Bracelet-A3120-62672.html
Hawkinssg 0 Posted January 29, 2017 (edited) The Miyota is a bit noisy but unnoticeable with normal use. Good reliable movement. Edited January 29, 2017 by Hawkinssg
blehbleh215 0 Posted January 9, 2018 The reason to pick the Miyota 9015, is it for the reliability and easy to service?
