James.l 0 Posted February 15, 2017 Hello All, I'm in the process of trying to return a watch to a TD from here and the TD said to declare it at a low value (£6 i chose) and to declare it as a gift. I've had an email from UKMail who is shipping it to China for repair asking for more paperwork. The goods are currently held by customs which is causing a delay. They have requested a itemised copy of the invoice for the goods please can you forward this to us as soon as possible the best email address for this will be [email protected] Any suggestions from anyone who has returned anything before? Thanks

James.l 0 Posted February 16, 2017 Ask your dealer what to declare That is exactly what I have done declared it as low value and as a gift and it appears that customs have smelt something fishy...

greg_r 81 Posted February 16, 2017 Should have sent it via Royal Mail. All bets are off when using couriers.
James.l 0 Posted February 16, 2017 (edited) I've redone the paperwork as requested by UKmail and declared it as faulty watch at a value of £6 (which is what the TD suggested). Lets see if it gets through, if not guessing they won't return it either? Edited February 16, 2017 by James.l
