edil 28 Posted March 25, 2011 Does anyone know if this site is legit or a scam http://www.worldofwatches.com/ One of the RWI members pointed them out to me some time ago so i was just curious. Thanks
Baldrick 1 Posted March 25, 2011 Using genuine brand photographs, I'd suggest they're a poor choice for supply, can't say for definite it's a scam site, but you almost certainly won't get the same as the photo. Why would you consider anything but the recommended dealers on these forums, to save a few dollars, don't think that's gonna happen JMO, BIKIR B)
edil 28 Posted March 25, 2011 I was told they are genuine watches on discount thats why i even considered. If they were replicas i wouldn't even consider about it. That's why i asked if anybody have seen this site before and though it's legit. But thanks.
Cynikal.Mindset 1 Posted March 25, 2011 they are legit...they are even linked in the deals of the day thread here...if you wanna buy invicta and other such brands then you can buy from them. The watches are just artificially priced super high and then "discounted" to make it look like you are getting a killer deal when in fact you are paying the normal price for what they are worth. vfsvfl 0 Posted May 17, 2011 FWIW, Worldofwatches has actual retail stores, including one next to Macy's in a local mall. (Ironically, located about 25 yards from the Macy's watch counter.) They sell watches, bands, pins, repair services, etc. My limited research finds they are not really selling bargains. Pins and straps and other stuff seem really over-priced ("mall prices" I suppose). They show a lot Invicta & other mainstream brands. They also sell brands you probably never heard of (or at least I had never heard of) which seem to target Invicta & other over-sized watches for a few dollars less than Invicta prices. Daytona_Dreamer 0 Posted September 26, 2014 There are many tip offs that this is a legitimate site, among them that they have a contact phone number and customer service numbers. They sell lower priced homage watches from Invicta and the like. Their prices are average. I bought at least one watch from them years ago.
Swag 0 Posted March 5, 2015 I was told they are genuine watches on discount thats why i even considered. If they were replicas i wouldn't even consider about it.
