Diver Dave 0 Posted May 31, 2017 (edited) Hey Mate, Actually, doing it yourself isn't terribly hard. I'm assuming you want to do nickle over a base metal? Do a little Google-Fu. It's a kitchen project if you're inclined. http://www.instructa...Nickel-Plating/ Did some of this in a prior life doing gunsmithing, and it was pretty painless. You can do silver and gold as well, Google is a friend. Edited May 31, 2017 by Diver Dave
ERROR404 18 Posted May 31, 2017 I looked briefly into doing it myself... but maybe I was looking at the wrong site, because when I started adding things up, I was going to spend hundreds just to get the equipment (the chemicals alone where a big ticket... they came in large containers). I see your link, it's the complete opposite, I will look into it... Thanks!

mike_morgan 0 Posted June 1, 2017 Guys use the damn Yellow Pages! Any decent electroplaters can do the job for you, it isn't rocket science. But they don't WANT to use the yellow pages... they want it handed to them on a silver plated platter... after we tell them where to get the platter plated!
