Oris ProDiver Chronograph, 51mm (Gen)

Recommended Posts

Balad1

I know there has been posts on this gen watch before but I wanted to share photos, information and open up discussion on this watch and the reps to hopefully become available soon.

I realize that Narikaa had early samples and sold out quickly; I'm waiting with credit card in hand for them to become available again.

For those lucky few that received the early samples what are your thoughts on the rep and wearing a 51mm?

I want the rep, NOW

Me too John; considering I can't wear my "Big Black 50mm Parnis" I need a 51mm watch like a hole in the head but that's never stopped me from spending money on reps before, lol.

Of course you can wear it. A friend's fourteen year old kid tried on my Flight Deck homage and it looked so big on him it was actually cool. So as long as your wrist is bigger than a fourteen year old's (or bigger than my johnson) you can pull it off. Look at all the people wearing 60mm Egi's.

Wow, she is stunning.

They are repping it, Baldrick has one, but it was a demo - one of several Narikaa had, but all gone now. Sooner or later we will see it for sale, I can hardly wait. Oh, and Baldy's is a quartz, but fucking beautiful, that's the one I am getting asap.

I'm not a purist yet and the quartz version would be fine for me if the rest of the rep was of high quality; actually I would prefer it.

I've had some issues with the 7750 movement in the past and that whole thing about only changing the date during a full moon or what the hell is bullshit, lol

that one is no longer made, but there is another quartz homage on eBay now, branded "audi" and "alpha romeo" - here is one listing, doesn't have screw down pushers, but I think it is the same watch:

I think it may be too bulky / heavy on the bracelet, if it were like the original in titanium, different matter, but even mine on rubber is a heavy beast, you need it clamped up tight on your wrist, otherwise it's a slider !

PS, if anybody is gonna order one can they PM first, !

Good Friend,

How is the overall quality of your watch. I don't mind the quartz movement but would like 1st class packaging otherwise.

Baldrick can you measure the grams please ? I think I once ask you to measure it with Ploprof, can you please do it also with the Oris ? :ttiwwop: Thank you.

Yes it is true if it was Titanium then no problem with the weight. But for an defensive mechanism for hand CANNON  IF you give somebody fist, it will be like panzerfaust ! :D

MUST have it !

Of course for you John, it won't be a problem, not with those big manly wrists you have, now fukk off and go help Pat save the planet or something and remember, if at first you don't succeed, pull your foreskin over yer heid !

Hey, you saying my buddy has a limp wrist?

Better limp-wristed than limp-brained

@Kenny, it's 210 grams on a rubber strap, with the bracelet, the Oris bracelet is a big heavy item, it's going to be closer to 300 grams, almost 1/4 kilo, now you know why Oris made it in titanium :)
