Luthier 1 Posted March 28, 2011 Go ahead, Kenny, seems you can not only to pump iron...
jdoe 0 Posted March 28, 2011 Impressive! Only thing you can improve a little is the King's crown, little unsharp it seems. Rest seems spot on. Do you do guilloché too?
KeNnY 29 Posted March 28, 2011 Go ahead, Kenny, seems you can not only to pump iron... and who said that I can only pump iron ? in year back, I would never believed, that I will be so fascinated into watches... Must wait to next paycheck, to buy some decal stickers.. Then I will try to print some on laser pointer what I have at work. Thank you jdoe, it is really hard to find exact fonts for the dial, because rolex have its own dial font. Yes I will try that, thank you As for the guilloche, I had to use wikipedia for that. Guilloché (Guilloche) is a decorative engraving technique in which a very precise intricate repetitive pattern or design is mechanically engraved into an underlying material with fine detail. Well, don't have a machine for that... I will try only to stick a decal, and we will see how it will works out.

KeNnY 29 Posted March 28, 2011 mulder yes ! Have to modify fonts, but at work - impossible... Alvinado thanks, yes the font should be a but thinner, all fonts should be a bit thinner but Don't know how the laser printer will print it out. will try on a piece of paper. Thank you pollux ! I hope it will be worth it !
Cynikal.Mindset 1 Posted March 28, 2011 the Gen does have 2 different dials v1 and v2 which have different fonts, different crowns and different second hands. So, while correcting the dial you should correct everything else to make them match. good job Kenny

Cynikal.Mindset 1 Posted March 28, 2011 your spacing on superlative chronometer and officially certified is wayyy off. The "1" in 1200 should line up with the leading edge of the "E" in superlative and then adjust the "officially" underneath to match
