greg_r 81 Posted November 26, 2008 Its not a rep watch,no branding on it,swiss movement, built, lumed and serviced by Flav,a watch that will never have 'issues',unlike a fake, stands out and i like that hmm - well lemme see, it's a Panerai lookalike, but not built from genuine Panerai parts and with a hand-painted custom dial. The only thing gen about it is that it is actually a real, working watch. We can make a case for the dial being a genuine work of art, but I don't think we can call the watch a gen, somehow. Which makes it what......? Oh, I know.... If it looks like a duck and walks like a duck......... it sure ain't a Panerai, therefore it's a rep. Call it a 'homage' if you will, hell, call it anything you like: Albert; Harold; Englebert, even. Still a rep. :P Still interesting, though. Wear it well. SliceMaster 281 Posted December 1, 2008 going with the new Explorer II for some days now Hey Sven! Where'd you get that Exp? Are the surrounds around the hour markers black? They look black in your pic. OK Doc now I got my watches back from Rolexaddict and I can confirm that the surrounds around the hourmarkers are in fact black, didn´t notice that before and I didn´t know that this was unusal, so yet another reason to buy from Lawrence at House of Souvenirs right
