613Kid 0 Posted April 7, 2011 As some of you know my A6497 PAM 360 arrived from Mary DOA. After a week of looking for someone to service it here in Ottawa, Canada, Mary and I decided it was best to send it back to her for a replacement. I would like to know if there are any tips for shipping a watch back to China. Specifically, what kind of wording should I use and what value should I declare. I was going to put "Broken jewellery for repair." and put the value as $0, since it's broken currently, and this way I avoid the word watch without lying since technically a watch is a form of jewellery. Any advice is appreciated as I hope to ship it out tomorrow.
Member X 91 Posted April 7, 2011 Are you on RWGjr? I believe Zig/Ziggy/the Zigmeister is in Canada ?? He does excellent work and I don't think he's too expensive if you get it serviced.
