Sending Watches Back to China

Recommended Posts

613Kid

As some of you know my A6497 PAM 360 arrived from Mary DOA. After a week of looking for someone to service it here in Ottawa, Canada, Mary and I decided it was best to send it back to her for a replacement.

I would like to know if there are any tips for shipping a watch back to China. Specifically, what kind of wording should I use and what value should I declare.

I was going to put "Broken jewellery for repair." and put the value as $0, since it's broken currently, and this way I avoid the word watch without lying since technically a watch is a form of jewellery.

Any advice is appreciated as I hope to ship it out tomorrow.

Are you on RWGjr?

I believe Zig/Ziggy/the Zigmeister is in Canada ??

He does excellent work and I don't think he's too expensive if you get it serviced.

If you still want send watch back to China, the best way how to avoid problems is PM Mary, and she can provide you all information.

Thanks for the tip, just looked into it, and discovered that he is not taking orders until June.
