We have a VIP only section dealing with the Gate for a very good reason.  Newbies joining could be tempted by the links and prices to buy without really knowing what they might get.  We guide them to our TDs so they get a solid safe intro to our world. Once they've read, hopefully learned and signed up as VIPs we assume they've picked up enough to enter the Gate with their eyes open.  I've picked up some fun cheapies and a couple of real dogs but only ever buy with throw away money and low expectations.  That's why we don't generally say much about the gate on the main forum.
