Resizing Band

Hello everyone and merry christmas.

I need to remove 4 links on my noob v7 sub.

On one of the links that i need to remove the screw will not undo.

I have removed the band and put it into an ultrasonic cleaner for a few cycles hoping that would loosen up the screw but it didnt help.

I do not want to try and unscrew it really tightly as i am worried i will break the screw.

I have just put the band into a baby oil bath and will let is soak for a while aswell as giving it a wriggle occasionally, as i have read other members have some luck with that method.

 

Just wondering if there is any other methods that i can try if the baby oil bath doesnt help?

I have heard of soaking it in WD40 too. Perhaps would work better if the baby oil doesn’t work out.
