Unfortunately they gloss over the fact that the B&M for 2700usd that has features more likely to be in a 10k watch such as the silicon escapement and the five day power reserve is actually just highlighting the extortionate profit margins that the high end brands charge. They would have you believe all this fancy stuff costs so much more when in reality it doesn't and you're only paying for the brand name. They missed the opportunity to call a spade a spade, but at least it appears that reality has started to trickle into the ego and arrogance of the watch companies and this might just be a very good thing for the consumers who have effectively been priced out of the market. Won't really affect the rep market but it might certainly entice more into buying gen. I wonder how this will impact on the grey market and their prices, could be some really great bargains there soon if this keeps up Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
