Looking for a 16610 with 2836 movement which trusted dealer can get but recommends 116610 with 2824 movement. Your thoughts? Thanks.

You really don't want to post this sort of question here unless you're wearing Nomex.   I suggest you start with the New Members Start Here before asking a question that's been answered many times before. ( Hint - Try searching for movements, 11610 or 2824.)

5 digits (16610) and 6 digits (116610) are completely different watches.
Crownguards :
Thin on the 16610 and thick on 116610
Dial indexes :
Small on 16610 and large on 116610
Lugs :
Thin on the 16610 and thick on 116610
etc, etc, etc ...
Just Google the two models ... and if you don't see any difference within the 16610 and the 116610 ... buy a cheap quartz
