MrZoSo 15 Posted February 1, 2018 I'd love to take the horrific most uncomfortable rubber strap and deployant from this beauty. I've "googled" a removal tool but no real definitive answer. Was hoping someone here had this issue as well and could help. Be much appreciated. Thanks.
Daffy 105 Posted February 1, 2018 If you can't find the correct tool, it will be a PITA. Seriously. With the heads sticking out from the case like that, you could probably take a couple of small pieces of soft leather, and wrap that leather around the jaws of some pliers. Once you have done that, you should be able to CAREFULLY grab the screw ends with it. Slight turns to the left, reset as needed.
Daffy 105 Posted February 1, 2018 Or, conversely... CAREFULLY cut the rubber strap off the watch. This will give you access to the hardware underneath. Soft headed pliers again, and turn the screw from the "now available" body.
tabuktime 54 Posted February 1, 2018 You need a pentalobe driver. Not sure what size you'll need though. Here is a link to a definition for you. Now you know what it's called you can start your search. Good luck!
