trailboss99 997 Posted April 23, 2009 Jameo: If you wander over to our extensive collection of By-Tor's Watch Reviews or click on THIS LINK you will find a complete review on this master work. I have held the rep and gen in my hands side by side and can tell you even the owner (he tends to buy the rep before the gen for a test flight) has trouble telling them appart. It realy is that good and I want one bad. This has been at the top of my list since it came out at 425 USD. How could they make such a mistake, Beggers me. It proberly was an honest mistake. With any luck the gen pushers will fit (the reps are too long, not wide) but I am not sugesting to a client that I pull appart a near five grand (OZ) gen to find out. The gen MVT would certainly fit. It's only a 7750 after all. I'd rather go for the gen bracelet tho. The rep one is very good but they never seem to put as much effort into the bracelet as the watch itself. Col. jameo210369 0 Posted April 23, 2009 I agree TB, the straps and bracelets are always a big let down. Thanks for the link TB much appreciated.
trailboss99 997 Posted April 23, 2009 Yep, fit a gen bracelet, pushers and date wheel (there is aperantly a small issue with a cpl of dates but I can't see it with naked eyes) and it would be a perfect 1:1 that would fool even an AD untill the back came off. Put a gen MVT into it as well and for all intents and purposes it would be the gen. Ebel must have nightmares over this one. The new model 1911 with the correct dial spaceing should prove just as good. We're going to have to wait untill after the Speedy is done for that one tho. Col.
