Chopard strap size?

Recommended Posts

Hello all. I have the Chopard Mille Miglia on it's way and I would like to order a leather strap for her but I am not sure on the size. Does anyone know the strap size for this model watch? Thanks!

Erik

Chopard had to go and make an oddball strap size. As I recall it's 21 mm which makes it hard to find a proper fitting replacement. You can either go down 1 mm and have a very small gap, or go up 1 mm and force it on.

It looks good on a "Hirsch style" racing strap. It took me a while to find one that fit. Here's an old picture:

I thought the rubber strap sucked!

Watch-band-center.com are a good source for odd-sized straps.

WRONG

The Chopard GT XXL have a lug width of 23mm, unless they've changed them, which I doubt, these examples are all on 24mm Hirsch style racing straps.

( co-incidentally I MAY have 3x straps lying about which are redundant to me, Black, Tan and Chocolate Brown, if you're interested in one PM me ) !

Thanks Baldy. Like I said I wasn't sure. Just remembered it being an oddball size.

Would those straps take a Chopard deployment clasp?
