surfer2278 0 Posted April 13, 2011 (edited) The Submariner has a cyclops, the Dweller doesn't, The Sea-Dweller has a He-valve, the Submariner doesn't, The Sea-Dweller is around 2mm higher that the Submariner, due to the thicker crystal, case and case-back. The Sea-Dweller is rated for 1220 meters, the Submariner for 300 meters, The dial from the Sea-Dweller is 1mm smaller than on the Submariner, The Sea-Dweller has engraving on the case-back, the Submariner hasn't, The rotatable bezel is slightly thicker on the Sea-Dweller, The Submariner comes on the ref. 93250 Oyster bracelet, the Sea-Dweller comes on the ref. 93160 Oyster bracelet. Both bracelets are very similar in construction, apart from the smaller half-link on the 6 O' clock side on the Submariner (which help to keep the clasp more centered), and the SEL-pieces are slightly different. They both use the same diving-extension release method, and have the Flip-lock safety clasp. Edited April 13, 2011 by surfer2278

And the important thing is to add that this should be only correct if the comparism is made for Submariner 16610 and Sea Dweller 4000 16600 ;-). And: The Sea Dweller is only available in one configuration: Stainless Steel, black Bezel insert.
Eiderdaus 0 Posted April 18, 2011 found that http://forums.timezone.com/?t=rview&th...mp;goto=1178598 surfer: are you henk hoving ? If not you should have quoted him.....and you should have copied the first sentence as well "A small comparison and my personal experience and view on the much discussed Submariner vs. Sea-Dweller debate. In this comparison I'll use my ref. 16610LV and my ref. 16600, both well-known watches in the WIS-world I might say... " so then I wouldn´t have to add this in my first reply

surfer2278 0 Posted April 18, 2011 Errrrr....I'm pretty pretty sure surfer is said Henk Hoving Eider stop outing people.... out·ing (outng) n. 1. An excursion, typically a pleasure trip. 2. A walk outdoors. 3. The exposing of one assumed to be or wishing to be considered heterosexual as being gay, lesbian, or bisexual. 4. An athletic competition or an appearance therein: The rookie pitcher threw a no-hitter in his first outing with the team. Exactly what are you implying by your reply? I am not familiar with the expression.
