palaufreak 0 Posted February 6, 2018 Hey guys , Just received the amazing 114300 OP! In gray rhodium. It is truly an incredible watch and I highly recommend it to anyone. Everything seems fine at the moment except a noice in the clasp, each time you press it or move your wrist it makes like a clicking noise. I want to know if putting the bracelet in baby or Olive oil will do the trick of eliminating that noise. Also, I have not noticed any delays with the movement, it seems to be smooth and it hasn't stopped since yesterday that I unpacked it. I want to know that since it's not presenting an issue or rotor noise I should still service it ASAP or not. Thank you Here are some pics Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

tripdog123 37 Posted February 6, 2018 Nice looking watch, but to be honest, if I spent $6000 on a watch and the clasp made that noise every time I repeatedly poked it with my finger, I'd send it back.

Hunklee 0 Posted February 8, 2018 As long the parts are clean and machined nicely, aesthetics should not be a big issue
GingerApple 7,305 Posted February 8, 2018 Ok, so I have the same watch. I'm wearing it now in fact. And guess what, mine does the exact same thing!!!! Who knew!!?! Having said that, it doesn't remotely bother me because the only time the clasp makes the irritating tapping noise is when you do the irritating tapping movement - as long as I only wear the watch as a watch should be worn, problem solved! Hoorah!

Hoorah! Just about all bracelet clasps are going to make that noise if you tap on them like an 8 year old with ADD & Parkinsons. I've heard people say you should get them serviced straight away because they're bone dry inside, no oil. I had one turn up working, but it wouldn't manually wind so I sent it for service. The watchsmith said it wasn't winding because it was overly oiled/greased and just needed cleaning basically. So I'd say only service if necessary.

GingerApple 7,305 Posted February 12, 2018 Does it cost much to have your car serviced? Depends on your garage. Likewise watchsmith.
