Rubber Strap suggestions for DSSD

Any suggestions? How would Panerai 22mm straps fit?

My suggestion would be not to bother. I tried one on leather and it looked pretty bad. The bracelets are good quality.

If you do decide you want to, the lugs are 21mm so it might be a bit of a squeeze but not too bad being rubber.

Yes, leather is a big no-no on DSSD but I think rubber would work.

Bullshit!

And it's waterproof enough to swim in. You could also try shark skin.

Col. post your DSSD on leather, I think it looked nice... all you who disagree, you a re WRONG !

THe best option for DSSD would be NATO STRAP ! And the best NATO strap will be with nice thick 5 lock system, as pictures here. It looks AMAZING !

Oh I like that!

Yes, NATO and DSSD go well but you need a thick NATO or it looks silly. Carbon Fibre is another good choice.

Yes Ciol. Me agrees. When the watch is thick, it should also have thick strap.

Tristan123 you better search with your friend google.. But I think I once was on one site, where they had the exact thick nato like on picture for price around 20-30USD ?

I tried mine on a leather and didn't like it. I think a NATO is the way to go - I really don't like the tapered/skinny design of the bracelet it just unbalances the look of the chunky watch.

btw, if you are uk based, i can recommend timefactors for nato/rhino straps - the quality is very good, even if the choice isn't that wide.

You want NATO? Go Maratac every time! http://www.broadarrow.net/maratac.htm

They supply the UK Army as well as others. They also have the correct "bond" strap.

The nato straps do look good and so does the oiled leather. Must have just been the black leather I tried that didn't work.

KeNnY, because of Hulk-arms, you should go for maratac!

The straps in ska's post could be too short for you.

I got both, trust me.

Maratac is the lower one, only about 3 cm longer, but position of hardware makes it appear longer.

Great picture mate ! Thank you for that. I don't know, what is better to wear it, what do you think, witch is better, the shorter or the longer version ?

I like to wear it like this:

when the strap goes way back in the buckle. (sorry for weak explanation)

would be no way for you with the non maratac, I guess.
