Luxuracer 14 Posted March 3, 2018 Rolex Submariner 116610LV “HULK” : VRF vs GEN Bezel color is getting better ! Hi fellas, Finally after a long wait for some factory to made this Submariner 116610LV Hulk closer to genuine, here it comes. We know that Noob had been making these with their V7 and their newly released V8, but again the green bezel insert color still a flaw. It is very hard to make the color closer to the green ceramic color of the genuine, because they must be created from specific material with closely guarded technology. Around the end of 2017 , one new factory named VR Factory come into the repworld and release some high quality Rolex replica to the market. They come out with the Submariner 16610LV Hulk as one of their products along with 16610LN and Sea Dweller 50th anniversary. VR factory claimed that their 116610LV are made with the specific green ceramic material with better technology, the result they said to be closer bezel color when compared to genuine bezel insert. Well, compare it head to head with genuine. It is very hard to tell the exact green color of that VRF insert. There is still slight difference between the green color of VRF when compared to the gen. Every angle produced different color looks. In this angle, i still can see that the green color is better compare to the inserts Noob and JF made before, but still need to be a little bit brighter. At this point, we can say that the green color of VRF Hulk insert is the best among other production from other factories. Lets see from another angle. Well, we can see very close color to genuine. It's at close as 98% same as color production of the genuine insert. Beside from the bezel color, VR Factory make a perfect bezel marker with correct silver color. When you look at it closer, those marker are well engraved. However we still can see that the markers are a little bit too thick compare to the genuine, as we can see on below pictures : Lets move to Case and Bracelet; VRF really learned from previous factories who are making this 116610LV models. The case thickness is perfectly the same with genuine, the crystal height is just perfect as genuine. And the when we touch the bracelet, they have very solid bracelet with perfect clasp details. we can not see anything that we can complain on these. Crown guard shape is nicely done. However we still can see that the crown gear need to be sharper. This is not a complete review, only some overview that have been take from China forum listed by VR factory. Someone with a gen can do a in-deep review if they can get their hand on these. One thing we can see, this is probably the closest green bezel color on this replica ever. Actually, as I've been wearing my Noob Hulk all day today, you can have a couple of wristies for comparison purposes. My Hulk needs a good Molotow mod, but that aside, you can see the bezel insert differences (excuse the smudges). By the way, in case you were wondering, I was also wearing green underpants. The dw font on the other hand ... need to go!
