Where does this go?

Well I took the bezel off, ended up scratching the watch :(

heres 4 holes. Three with springs, one near the 6 marker with something inside and I found this little guy so I’m wondering which hole he goes into

Bolt in the hole around the 6 marker is a cone (it gives you a click and prevents a bezel from being bi-directional)

The 3 other oval bolts keep the bezel on level. Yours is one of these oval bolts.

Vacuum hose with a thin sock or pantyhose over the end of it, run it all over the carpet.  Everything's gotta be somewhere :D

I've used a strong magnet to find tiny lost screws in the carpet.

@LargeMarge you really need to find these things. Seriously, there are no aftermarket bolts nor springs. If you go to the TD - they can sell you the whole case kit, but no such small parts.

Guys, i put it back together and its just like normal.

i dont think this watch had 3 of them. Because i did it on a flat open surface, if there was 3 of them, i def wouldve seen or found them.

the bezel went on perfectly and worked just like it did before removing?

You don't want to put magnetized screws in a watch.

My question to you is ... 'Have you ever polish stainless steel before?' ....

Cape Cod Polishing Cloth can get some minor scratches out ... otherwise you need to wetsand and polish.

Pictures of your watch might help.

They put extra parts in so it’s okay if there are a few left over. Just like Porsche does, too.

lux told you right-for deeper scratches first sand then polish.

if you use cape cod on brushed case you will  just polish it. manuals are right! :)

Where are the pictures ?!?

If the scratches are light and on the brushed part of the case ... you can use 3M Scotch-Brite Green Scour Pad to remove them. You scrub evenly the same direction of the brushed area.

You can cape cod the brushed section and then use a scotch brite pad to rebrush it.  Just tape off the polished section so you don't brush that.  Or just wear it because it'll eventually get scratched up anyways

Don't worry about scratches.

People on forums pay extra for scratched, damaged and vandalised watches.

(They get conned into believing that they're getting 'vintagised' watches and pay quite a premium for them too)
