My friend the only problem with your posting these watches is that it makes me want to start collecting them, lol.

That is probably the smoothest seconds hand sweep I've seen so far...

Next we will want to see the Omega Megasonic ;)

Running at 720Hz or 2 592 000 bph (unlike the others that run at a mere Million bph) ;)

You might need a higher speed camera so as not to make it look too un-smooth.

Nice Longines Ultronic going for $445 (Buyitnow) if you want a T-fork, not too bad as others seem to be asking above $1000

Damn, another one I have to resist.

Couldn't help it

Thing is NOS, and doesn't work, so either I tossed $50 in the bin, or I get lucky and someone get this going again.

Nice piece jdoe, should have an ESA 9162 movement.

Can you discover the small Omega sign in the middle of the glass?

Just won the thing on the Bay, so still not able to look it over yet. Probably send it out to that fella in the UK that cares for these for him to fix it.

Thing is supposedly New Old Stock (NOS) so if there should be an Omega there it will most likely be there.

Beautiful smooth sweep on those watches. Does anyone other than Grand Seiko with their Springdrive do such a sweep now? :D

Me suspects Springdrive not even close to the Mecasonic

Just got the omega in the mail today and am going to do some recon on the thug.

This is fact: I have never, in my life, seen a mvmnt that moves like this! It is unreal. My GF asked me how small the ELECTRIC MOTOR was on it, as it rotates in a perfectly fluid motion, there is no evident "tick" what so ever with the naked eye. I am going to see if I can slow it down (the video) to look for ticks.

More info soon.....

On the video you WILL see ticks, which most likely will be due to the number of frames per second of your CAMERA and not the watch.

Thing is running at about 1 Million beats per hour, while normal watches run at 18,000-36,000

If I don't recall incorrectly 36,000 bph is the limit to what your eye, or rather your brain is able to distinguish the "tick"

I tried to capture this in high def, so let's see if PB works here, if not I'll YouTube it.....

PB takes my 16:9 widescreen HD vid and squishes it but it's still impressive as hell......

Impressive, nothing left from the "ticking"...
