When In Singapore..

So the wife and I are on honeymoon in Singapore and I’m hoping to try and find some nice reps while we’re here. Does anyone have any advice on where I can go to find some nice, affordable reps?

Unless you're really skilled at identifying good and bad reps, you've best off sticking with trusted dealers, especially if you're gong to spend any significant coin.

Well, poor decision making aside (I mean it's your honeymoon, but then again, it's your honeymoon), I think there is one or two dealers (not trusted here )who are based in Singapore (they won't do meetups though).

I wouldn't drop some pretty pennies there. Those fakes range in quality, most of them ranging from trash to shit. I personally like the comfort of TDs but If you find one that catches your eye go for it!

Perhaps get a Seiko or Orient delivered to your hotel from Creation to avoid the import duty.

Singapore not manufacturing hub

Whatever you can find here , if ever you can find, are from China, which also means TDS here can get the same faster, cheaper and more reliable.

Deleted my attempted “back door selling” message.

But if you want to buy a [watch] brand new , never worn before, I’m selling mine

You are not eligible to sell here yet and you certainly can't advertise like this.  Any more attempts to sell will earn you a "no-sale" status indefinitely, regardless of post count.

Hi Moderator, didn’t even occured to me it’s “back door selling”. Anyway have deleted.

In a recent audits of 31 countries including 10 Asean member states, on assessment of intellectual Property environment, Singapore emerged tops due to the strict IP laws it has in place, adequate and effective enforcement of IP rights, including action against piracy and prevention of copyright infringement etc. In recent years, the Singapore government have also prosecuted many sellers of copyrights infringement products from fashion wear, to Watches etc.

So if you are looking for reps, Singapore is not the place.

I’ll recommend instead of rep Watches, look for food, glorious food in Singapore.

I'm not your "bro" and you've no idea if I'm cheery or not.  Tread carefully...

Hahahaha yes yes correct
Even TDs can go wrong , unintentionally perhaps because they still have to be dependent on the factories or other intermediaries.

Murphy law “whatever can go wrong, will go wrong”.

But buying from a TDs does have surer way to resolve these occasional hiccups
And the forum here help too.
