So42 without caseback gasket?

Recommended Posts

So after fogging up i thought I'd inspect the gaskets. And there are no caseback gasket. So, did they just don't mount one or shouldn't there be one? 2ca8b51fdb93b21de169a133ff2a863c.jpg

There should be a gasket. Look at the case itself, it has a groove for a gasket.

Thanks fellas! what made me hesitate was that spring inside the caseback, I've never seen that before.

That one is common on IWC watches and is used to press on the movement ring (and you have it too) in order to avoid using movement ring retainer screws.
